If you would like to have a chat, or to ask anything that I may not have covered, then please contact me.
In accordance with the governments, World Health Organisation policies and my own professional body of The Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I have returned to working face to face. I am still offering and doing online Zoom sessions also, if that is your preference. The work that I do online and in person is all confidential and securely locked with passwords and keys. I am qualified to work online and have completed an online course that covers online therapy work created and accredited by the BACP and The Open University in collaboration.
In these uncertain and very worrying times it can be so comforting to know someone is listening to you and knows how important your feelings are and wants to help you smile.

a little about me
I know how it feels to wake up every morning and feel a huge heavy weight upon you. Although we all experience things in our own unique way this overwhelming feeling is just out of our window of tolerance.
I knew then that I wanted to alleviate this for both myself and others. It felt really important to find a new perspective and mindset to focus on.
I started my psychotherapy training and it gave me the knowledge and wisdom I really needed to gain a whole new direction in my life. I felt re-awakened and could not wait to share this with others.
I am a registered BACP member and I studied at The Sherwood Psychotherapy Institute.
I have worked at Carers Federation where I worked with clients from different backgrounds before starting and focusing on my own private practice.
I have worked with childhood issues, relationships, accumulative trauma, loss, self confidence and
depression.

What To Expect At Your Visit
Therapy can be a nerve wracking experience as it solely focuses on you which I can sadly say you may have been avoiding. It is so brave to reach out for help so if you are considering delving into therapy then I want to acknowledge that.
I am here to listen to you, hear you, value you and sit beside you.
Any presenting and troubling issues that are really grinding you down I can help with. Anxiety, depression, self esteem, low confidence, grief, relationship issues, attachment issues, trauma, childhood issues and any issues that are not enabling you to function as yourself causing a feeling of loss and floating. It is really liberating to have someone to share your load with.
Upon deciding you would like to embark on this therapy journey, I am available for contact with these details available on the website.
Services I offer and what to do next
With You Every Step of the Way
Your well-being is my ultimate concern. I am really pleased that you have decided to embark on this personal journey and it can be uncertain as to what to do next. I offer a free half an hour consultation session where we can talk and then we can arrange a weekly session from there. The process will be taken entirely at your pace and you can begin to feel yourself again before the world got it's hands on you.
In my therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles.
If you are feeling anxious and worried in these uncertain Covid-19 pandemic times. I know you may be unsure of how to access therapy. I offer online support on a video platform called Zoom, which is completely. Everything that is disclosed is incredibly confidential and we will enter into a therapy contract. I completely get that this video conferencing may be a completely new concept for you. However, we are all in this together and I will aim to help you feel at ease and help you feel comfortable.
